    The Longhorns repeat as national champions.

    Earl Campbell Heisman

    Running back Earl Campbell wins the Heisman Trophy.

  6. 1998

    Ricky Williams Heisman

    Ricky Williams sets the NCAA career rushing record and wins the Heisman.

  7. 2005

    Vince Young & the Rose Bowl

    Texas beats USC 41-38 to win the BCS National Championship.

  8. 2024

    SEC Era Begins

    Texas joins the Southeastern Conference and reaches the College Football Playoff semifinal.
